“ This place is just literally two blocks from my work place and it is a hidden gem. It looks vintage and hip. Didn't know it existed until I saw it clearly for the first time today it was Potbelly! So many different sandwiches to choose from and knowing myself, I like it keep it usually chicken and simple. I then quickly wander the menu and decided to go with chicken club which was very simple and less of a hassle. It included applewood smoked bacon and cheddar, which I find it very appealing in my sandwich. There was a mini line when I got there and thankfully it kept moving. When it was my turn, they were direct and forward and I said chicken club and then they went to work with my order. There was a lot of staff behind the counter working on our orders. We couldn't see the ingredients because the counter was too high. I wish I saw how they made the sandwiches. Since this was my first time in Potbelly, I was nervous in ordering and putting condiments onto my sandwich in case I messed up. There wasn't much talking when they were preparing it so I was happy. Then when it got to the point that I had to add condiments, I was blanked out in my mind. Luckily the lady behind the counter pointed to the wall of ingredients so big that I couldn't miss it. I was so happy and started to call out the ingredients that I wanted to the lady. Afterwards, the sandwich was prepared and paying it was easy without a fuss. I had to take the sandwich back to my job to eat it and I think the sandwich was very tasty especially with the smoked bacon that went along with the fresh chicken. The sandwich had mayo, pickles, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, chicken, cheddar, and bacon. The cucumbers were cut very long and thinly sliced. Everything was so fresh. I love the bacon the most and it was not even fatty. Chicken was breast meat so it was not fatty at all. Overall very toasty and filling. Will come back to try other sandwiches. ”
“ I just really like the selections and the prices here. Since this is one of the last of their remaining locations in the city, I hope they can stick around. All the Quiznos' are gone, and most of Panerra Breads have changed to "express" type stores. This is one of the few places to get a toasted sandwich and sit down and enjoy it. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is very nice and helpful. ”
“ This was my second time ever dining at this restaurant. I was craving something spicy so I immediately gravitated towards their (limited time only) new jalapeño popper chicken sandwich. There were 3 staff members who each served a purpose. You place your order with the first staff member. Then you move down to the lady who is preparing the sandwich. She asked me what toppings wanted in my sandwich. The sandwich comes with grilled chicken, jalapeño crisps, lettuce and tomato. However, she asked me if I wanted lettuce and tomato. If it comes with it, then why ask me if i wanted them. Then the third staff member rang me up. The sandwich was reasonably priced at $11.99 plus tax. I enjoyed my sandwich; it wasn't spicy. I wished the jalapeño crisps were spicier. They were just crunchy. There was ample grilled chicken. The jalapeño cream cheese was yum. Should have asked for more. It wasn't super busy when I got there to order and was able to get a table to sit down and enjoy my food. I'm looking forward to trying their other sandwiches. ”
“ I am not big on Potbelly Sandwiches, but i guess when you visit New York like me, It will change your life lol. We ordered the Italian Sandwich when we were here. I got all the big meats and popular cheeses on the Sandwich. Sandwich was huge, it didnt almost make since to get 2 orders. Sandwich look like it can feed a table of 3. Sandwiches are great. Nice people working here. I like the vibe. We will be back again. ”

There was a survey on our receipt and you know im all about getting the free item that often accompanies them! So we quickly filled out the survey and received a free cookie. That was the best part! Friendly employees, service was a little slow, but we werent in any hurry. ”
“ My most recent experience here was great. They often have BOGO coupons on the app and now I don't even need to wait in line. I just go pick up my order. I do have to say, I cannot resist the sugar cookie, and that makes it hard to eat here often. The sugar cookie at Potbelly is perfection: you just taste the sugar, eggs and butter. No chocolate to distract from the flavor. The best cookies in lower Manhattan since there don't seem to be any Mrs. Fields or Levain nearby. ”
